Medical Detoxification
Detoxification is the critical first step in addiction recovery. At MSH Treatment, our board-certified physicians and registered nurses provide 24/7 medical supervision throughout the entire process. We utilize Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate to reduce withdrawal severity, minimize cravings, and protect your physical safety.
Every detox program at our Northridge facility begins with a comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluation. This allows our clinical team to develop a personalized stabilization protocol that addresses your unique physiology, substance history, and any co-occurring conditions.
Detox typically lasts 3 to 7 days depending on the substance, duration of use, and individual health factors. Throughout this period, our team continuously monitors vital signs, adjusts medications as needed, and provides compassionate emotional support to help you through every stage.
Assessment
Complete medical and psychiatric evaluation, substance history review, and personalized treatment planning by our clinical team.
Stabilization
Medically managed withdrawal with 24/7 monitoring, MAT protocols, nutritional support, and symptom management.
Transition
Seamless transition into residential or outpatient treatment with a continuing care plan designed for long-term success.

Outpatient & Aftercare

Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Research consistently shows that nearly half of individuals with a substance use disorder also experience a co-occurring mental health condition. Treating one without addressing the other significantly increases relapse risk. At MSH Treatment, our dual diagnosis program provides truly integrated care, addressing both conditions simultaneously with a unified clinical team.
Our psychiatrists, licensed therapists, and addiction counselors work together to create a comprehensive treatment plan that treats the whole person. By identifying and addressing the mental health conditions that often fuel substance use, we help our clients achieve deeper, more sustainable recovery.
Dual diagnosis treatment at our Northridge facility includes psychiatric evaluation and medication management, individual psychotherapy, specialized group sessions for co-occurring conditions, trauma-informed care approaches, and holistic stress-management techniques.
